It’s not about homework!
This program is perfect for today's busy world. This is a mentoring program for boys and girls in our local elementary schools. Our agency works with the school to identify those children who would most benefit from a one-to-one relationship with a caring adult. The Mentor spends one hour per week doing a fun activity. Together you can use the gym, library, computer lab, arts and craft room or even the staff room to plan out and spend your time together. This is a program that takes place at the child’s school, during the school year.
We encourage employers to give employees the time during the work day to volunteer…studies show that people who volunteer perform better on the job!
